The names of BW Data Designs and DragonsEggs first came about as college projects. During the early part of 2002 I attended Bridgend College with the aim of studying PC repair and maintenance (CompTIA A+) and web designs. Following on from those early successes I continued studying and after achieving HNC in Software Engineering and Dip-HE in Computer studies, I was awarded a BSc. degree in Information Systems in June 2009.
Originally trained in telecommunications and telephone systems with GPO Telephones (now BT), I continued to find employment in the communications industry with the Home Office Directorate of Telecommunications and as a contractor to British Airways Avionics Engineering specialising in the maintenance and calibration of radio and radar test systems, including computer controlled automatic test equipment.
My first experience of computing was in the late 1970’s programming at machine code levels and I have been actively involved with various generations of computing ever since.
